School of Scholars’ Cliff Hanger 2022

The 23rd Annual Inter School Quiz Competition, Cliff Hanger’22 was organized by the School of Scholars, Atrey Layout, on 25th November 2022. It was also live on the FB page of SOS Atrey Layout, Nagpur. The competition aimed at testing the mental ability, general knowledge & quick wits of the contestants.The competition was held under three categories, Sub Juniors, Juniors & Seniors. More than 100 contestants from 36 schools participated in this ‘Mega Quiz Competition’.After the elimination round, 36 contestants were selected for the ‘Final Round’. In the Sub Junior category, Podar International school Yavatmal bagged the first prize as winner team. The first runner-up was bagged by Bhavan’s BP Vidya Mandir
Shrikrishna Nagar. Delhi Public School Mihan received the second runner-up prize. Center Point School Katol Rd. secured the consolation prize.
The winner in the Junior category was Bharatiya VidyaBhavan’s Lloyds Vidya Niketan school Wardha. The first runner-up was bagged by Jain International School and 2 ndrunner-up went to Center Point School Wardhman Nagar.

The consolation prize was bagged by the School Of Scholars Atreylayout Nagpur. Center Point School Wardhman Nagar was the winner team in ‘Senior Category. The 1st runner-up was bagged by Bhavan's Bhagwandas Purohit Vidya Mandir Civil Lines. 2nd runner-up was Center Point School Amravati Rd. Bypass. The consolation prize was won by Bhavan’s Bhagwandas Purohit Vidya Mandir, Trimurti Nagar. The quizmasters alumni Mr. Padmanabham Pillai and Mr.Aniruddha Murarka conducted the quiz intelligently. Each member of the winner team of the ‘Cliff Hanger Finals’, in Sub Junior, Junior, and Senior categories was given Fixed Deposits of Rs.7500/-, 10,000/- and 15000/- respectively. The first runners-up were given ‘Robotic Kit’ and the second runners-up received wristwatches. The FDs were sponsored by ‘Tirupati Urban Co-operative Bank’. Dr. Paras Ranjan Pujari, the senior principal scientist at the CSIR-National Environment Engineering Research Institute Nagpur, graced the occasion as the chief guest and shared some pearls of wisdom with the participants.
